The Zero Doctrine

Not a marketing page. A list of commitments we actually keep.

Zero marketing emails.

We don't spam. Ever. You buy something - you get one email with your license key. That's it. No newsletters, no drip sequences, no "we miss you."

Your inbox is yours. We're not coming in.

Zero dark patterns.

Our cookie banner gives you two buttons. Both of them work. Click "no" - we won't ask again, we won't make the button smaller, and we won't guilt-trip you with "but you'll miss out on a personalized experience."

We wrote about why most cookie banners are probably illegal. We meant it. We also built Zest - a 9KB cookie consent library for anyone who wants to do it right.

Zero lock-in.

Switch away from our tools anytime. We'll even help you migrate. Our HubSpot theme uses standard Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js - not proprietary frameworks that chain you to us. Your code stays your code.

Zero hidden agendas.

When we open-source something, we open-source it for real. No crippled "community editions," no bait-and-switch. Our open-source projects live on GitHub. Read them. Fork them. Roast them.

Zero bloat.

If a feature doesn't earn its bytes, it gets cut. Our cookie library is 9KB. Our starters ship production-ready, not "production-ready*" with asterisks. Every tool does one thing and does it well.

Zero fluff.

Our docs say what you need. Nothing more. No paragraphs of filler before the actual instructions. No "In this article, we will explore..." - just the answer.

That's it.

Six commitments. Not because they sound good on a website - because they shape every decision we make. Every product, every feature, every line of copy runs through this filter.

Other studios have brand guidelines. We have standards.
